Great place with a fantastic happy hour. The "outdoor" section is a great place to sit no matter what the weather. Would like to see more food offerings on the happy hour menu.

I very comfortable place to hangout and get some decent food and drink. There is live music some nights, and am eager to hear how this amplifies the ambience..

Nothing special, good service, reasonable pricing, decent grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, outdoor seating pleasant with the big exception of blaring music over speakers.

By far my favorite bar in the city. Live music, great food and drinks, exceptional customer service! They’ve become like family to me! I tell everyone to go here.

Great food, we were there early afternoon New Year's Day. Really crowded. Had to sit at high tables which I dislike. Wait staff polite and very accommodating.

It was a good time. The waitress was amazing. The band was cool. But when they said you could make a request my wife went up and he never did the request. I rather go again when better performers are there.

Nice casual spot for good times! The indoor patio makes you feel like you're outside, but protects you from the chilly weather when it's not patio season. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was! The nachos and veggie burger are awesome and the menu has a lot of options for everyone. Service was nice and everyone there seemed to have a good time. Definitely recommend for a chill day, or night out!

So when I review a restaurant I take into consideration not only the food, but the entire experience (as one should.) Northside is such a great experience. The waitstaff is so friendly! Extra shout outs to Jesse & Tiffany, excellent bartenders deserve accolades! The food is typical “bar” cuisine, ranging from burgers & chili to a delicious brunch menu. Do stop in. Just a quick walk from the Blue Line, Northside will have something for everyone. A neighborhood favorite.

My friends and I have made SO many good memories here! Its in such a happy neighborhood if I can call it that. Lots of places to check out, visit and look at around. The food is good, especially the burgers. For the longest time it was my favorite sports bar. It's got great ambiance, multiple HD flat screen TVs so you can get greedy and follow multiple games :) And the outdoor sitting is covered so you can sit outside come cold, rain and/or shine. I have been back in a while but it will be one of my first stops I make the next time I visit Chicago

I had some time to kill and stopped by for some Nachos and some Old Style. Cool neighborhood bar where locals gather for happy hour. Live music almost every night in October. Food was great and the staff was friendly.

Second time going there. Great food! Amber was amazingly awesome as a waitress!

Easily one of my favorite bars in the bucktown wicker park area. Live music has always been great. The inside atmosphere is awesome with all the plants (tree growing by the side bar, ivy everywhere) great food and always helpful and friendly staff. Nice watering hole if you have never been.

Happy hour is lovely.Twice, I went with friends and family, the atomsphere is wonderful. Nachos are the favorite to share.

sat at the bar and was asked for my drink order.she gave me my beer ,but did not offer me a menu? there were only 2 groups at thr bar.she basically did not come back to me until my friend came and joined me. she did help my friend w/ her wine choice, but still never offered us menus??

I come here to work on my computer or drink with Friends. Love the versatility. Outdoor patio is top notch... Makes me feel like I'm on vacation!

Great outdoor patio! Sunday brunch was not to crowded but tables filled more toward noon. With all the TVs it was a perfect sports viewing venue. Huevos rancheros were good, par for the course.

Northside Bar and Grill serves up some great music and stepped their game up about 6 months ago with groups that I love to hear, like Creampuff Warriors, Alpaca Smokes, and Bill Grady and Friends. No cover (please tip the bands and your servers), and a decent pour make this bar one of my go to venues.

This place is great. The food was amazing. I ordered the Baja fish tacos. They were very good. The Mayo and salsa and lightly breaded fish. They came to 9.50 for two which is basically the cheapest thing on the menu. They also have a large beer selection. Perfect date spot. I came to see my brother and cousin play there. The crowd was great.

Its a great spot for a quick bite off the Blue line train to the airport. There are a couple of cool shops and bars nearby. During the summer time they have a nice outdoor area! Kid friendly with high chairs provided.

Pretty expensive but you pay for location. It's decent, Good vibe but overpriced, did I mention it's expensive? Low value but expected

Hummm. How do I say this. I didn't like the food at all. Service was good. I'm not a "food junkie" but the fried food tasted stale. The flat bread with bacon and asparagus wasn't good. Don't know if I'll be back

Great bar with excellent burgers. Their chess'n'bacon is unbeatable. I can recommend it with pure heart and full stomach. Hope to visit them again soon :)

Passed by and decided to drink a beer while watching the Eurocup. Place is comfortable, quiet and it has a nice selection beers. Service is very good.

Great food and service. Tucked away in a cozy location, makes for a great experience in the City.

Good bar food, good draft selection. Staff is friendly. Nick the manager is awesome. Jessie the day time bartender is eager to please. They have a nice patio for the warm days. It's a pretty big place that isn't too crowded and loud. So it's easy to move around and talk to your friends.

Love the massive beer list, which includes local selections, craft specialties, and recognizable favorites. Yes good food, But The atrium is dope AF, and friendly service, I'll see them again soon!

At a hoppin' 8.5/10, the classic Bloody Mary at Northside bar is perfect to meet all your Easter needs. Meat skewer? Check. Pickles? Check. Olives? Check. Cheese? Hallelujah! This thing is sure to resurrect your day and make your night complete.

Great date night place. My server was so nice and attentive but not overbearing. Had the Buffalo Calamari it was awesome and big for an app. Drinks are not little either.

We've been coming here for 25 years and although it was never stellar it was always and still is acceptable. Food is acceptable, service is acceptable (the owners definitely favor female waitstaff - always have - never seen a male waiter, EEOC where are you?) Although some of the interior has seen proper upkeep and improvements some of it looks tired and worn. The indoor/outdoor patio is the attraction when the weather is in between.

Great experience front to back at The Northside. We stopped for a cold beer and some appetizers. We had the hummus and one of their Turkey chili appetizers. Food was really good, very fresh and the beers and overall selection was strong. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We'll be back!

Stopped in with out of town family on a whim and when we walked in they were setting up for a live performance, which if normally run from. This was the perfect amount of music and at a decent volume where we could enjoy each other's company as well as jam to good tunes. The food also has never disappointed and the toys are always the perfect amount of crunchy. Would return again!

Staff was extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. Great neighborhood bar with good food and drinks. The atrium is so nice with the natural light. We will be back!
